Hi All
Will a matrix of 2%HNO3 and 0.5%HCL be OK for stability of Ag to prepare 0-300ppb calibration curve or should the HCL rather be 1%?

Hello,
Several application notes are published with only 0.5% HCl added to 1% HNO3 :
Ag in soils / 0.5% HCl + 1% HNO3 : https://www.agilent.com/cs/library/applications/application-soil-7850-icp-ms-5994-2933en-agilent.pdf
Ag in drinking water / 0.5%HCl + 1% HNO3 : https://www.agilent.com/cs/library/applications/5991-4938EN.pdf
Ag in cannabis / 0.5% HCl + 1% HNO3 : https://www.agilent.com/cs/library/applications/5991-8482EN_cannabis_icp-ms_application.pdf
In those application notes, maximum standards of Ag are 100 ppb.
Not 100% sure it wil work the same for 300 ppb, but shoud be OK.
Best regards,
Guillaume
