Global Tune means, that this tune is used for every batch. If you run for example 5 batches, which are exactly the same, but belongs to 5 different customers, it makes sense to use a global tune setting. Then you only have to tune once. If you have different tune modes in those batches (like one has no HEHe e.g.) it is better not to use the Global Tune function.
