Agilent Auto sampler cant communicate with the instrument.?

Question

Hello everyone 
 I have a SPS 4 on 4200 on MP-AES, the challenge i have is it cant pick the samples automatically even after configuration. 
 It did pick samples from the racks at first. but for a while now it shows offline, even when all the cables and everything okay. 
 
 Any help would helpful.

Hello, 
 With the autosampler on and connected, I would recommend going to Windows Device manager, and seeing what COM port your SPS 4 is connected to. Then you can open MPExpert, go to File->Options, and select the correct Autosampler PC Port. Hope that helps and have a great day
