I want to analyse FAME on the ICP-OES 5800 with AVS 7 and SPS 4 autosampler. I am using 2-propanol as solvent with black/black tubing. I am using a conikal nebulizer.
Everytime I try to sample a FAME sample the spray chamber doesn't fill up, except for a few short moments. The sample loop also doesn't seem to fill that well. Therefore I only find very low intensities. Does anyone have tips to take up more sample or how to fill the spray chamber better?
I also have a pulsating nebulizer spray if I'm not injecting a sample.
