That is why chiller used in such instrument..Through chiller water circulated in coil around plasma, even some instrument over detector also if peltier cooling system not used over detector..
Once chiller not working, means water circulation stopped then it will melt..
Even look like same concept used in car also to keep engine cool( u can notice during car service)
