Hi,

before you do an alignment, you can check several other things. 

1. does the sampler hit the tubes at the 4 corners in the middle? If so the alignment should be ok. 
2. is the rack configuration correct?

3. is the sample list altered, if so some samples could be marked as „skipped“

4. is the sample solution completely dissolved, or could it be possible that particles block the tubing ??

Hi cschulz, 

it turns out the issue was air getting into the sample line due to the tube for the wash pump being a smaller diameter than it should have been. After replacing it by a high uptake volume tube the issue hasn't happened for nearly two weeks.
