The technique for analysis really depends on the method of digestion, and what the final concentrations are in the digested solution presented to the instrument and what the % total dissolved solids levels are in the final solution. Are you following a certain method? ICP-OES can do ppb up to % levels of concentrations, whereas ICP-MS can do lower concentrations such as ppt.

I agree with Tina’s considerations. Agilent has an incredible Atomic spectroscopy line for agricultural applications.
