Hello, with some elements (Na / K) I get a peak when measuring the BLANK, which does not go down even after cleaning and rinsing.

How do I then carry out the calibration function? Through ZERO? Or through BLANK? I've found it to have a significant impact on the lower-range readings and I'm not sure what is correct.0

Similar to your experience, I have seen peaks in the blank when monitoring Na/K even when I am using 18MOhm water acidified with nitric acid. My understanding is that the water still I was using was not able to remove Na/K to below detection limits of the ICPOES. I am not sure if this is your issue, but if it is, you may have to workaround the low level of Na/K in your lab grade water, which will obviously be in all your diluted samples as well. You could try the calibration method of Standard Additions, and this will accommodate for elements in your reagents.
