Nitrogen Generator - 4107

Hello Drinu 

I have a similar instrument MP-AES 4210.. It would be more helpful to narrow the problem if there is any.. I do not think there's a trouble shooting PDF apart from the help software attached to the instrument.

Hi,

Basically, I think that there is some water trapped in it since the was disturbing the flow of the plasma and when we swabbed with generator with N cylinders the instrument worked fine with no errors. I am wondering if there is a flushout procedure that one can do

Basically water is supposed to getting out through the drain behind the Generator. But now when you look at the drain pipe it is not that flexible but a bit stiff, therefore the drain does not allow the water out due to lack of gravity.. So u water keeps accumulating in the system which actually causes the instrument to start tripping. 

I experienced that so I had to cut the pipe to enable easy drained water flow.

Well, I have the MPAES-4100 and we have some trouble with the Nitrogen generator. Basically, we need to change the inlet filters due to the plasma is not stable due to the filters are blocked.

Nous n'avons pas de problème avec le générateur d'air. Notre problème se situe au niveau des résultats et de l'optimisation. Pour les résultats, Nous n'arrivons pas à tracer la courbe de calibration pour nombreux paramètres malgré les dispositions prises au niveau de la qualité des standards. 

First, check that the standards that you are using fresh and are issued from the Agilent. Also, try to adjust the parameters of the metals and check also the nebulizer that is in the correct form. we had some issues with the Chromium and Zinc lately but when we adjusted their parameters the results came good as aspected
