ICP-MS Error: 1214 RF amp FET over temperature

Hi everyone,

We are getting error #1214 on our 7500ce ICP-MS using Chemstation that is preventing us from enabling the plasma. There are no other errors that come before it on the error log. A PM was performed last week by Agilent and the instrument was working fine earlier this week but today we get this error. We've checked the gas and water connections and even flushed the chiller.

What could be the source for this error?

Hi

How is fumehood performance if not okay then sample compartment will give error of temperature and then plasma will be off.

If any other problem then have to contact your local agilent support to check system...

And also check chiller..low water circulation also may be cause of problem..
