We've recently switched one of our HPLC systems from Chemstation to Openlab v2.2. I can't find the option to shut down/go to standby once all queued runs are completed, meaning the pump continues running until the low solvent trigger point is hit (which is a big waste of solvent!). I can't find any mention of it in the Help & Learning resources. I… (Show more)

Hello, In my 6890 GC-FID appears the status message: Back det H2 flow. It is a random message and when it appears I have a lot of noise in my chromatogram I have cleaned the detector, the jet and reinstalled the column but the problem appears again. I also checked the leaks in the line and it is ok. I have another FID detector in the front and… (Show more)

Running a 7800 ICP-MS and during the past two weeks have been experiencing difficulties. The doubly charge percentage has continually risen with each day of testing. Other than spending a week in an Agilent training course, what is the best way to learn how to use the current OpenLab CDS ChemStation software, specifically for quantitative analysis and report creation? Using the Help menu is okay for a specific narrow question, but is too fragmented for overall instruction. Searching Agilent or Google keeps… (Show more)

We are using MH Quant, Qual and Unknowns rev 10.  Have you seen documentation on how data is deskewed before deconvolution is done in Unknowns ?  Is the deskewing process the same in Quant Target Deconvolution and in Qual Find > Find by Chromatogram Deconvolution ?   Thank You

Hi ! tell my please... I have this question. There is ISO 6974-6 for the determination of natural gas. Is it possible to do this analysis in one chromatograph? It is necessary to determine He, N2, H2, O2, CH4, as well as CO2, C2H6 and C1-C8 hydrocarbons. And bette in a wider range. regards Azrael
