For Agilent Masshunter .d format one could use MSConvert. But it doesn't support Chemstation .D format.
It's a bit of a roundabout way to get to your end goal, but you can use the GCMS Translator software that comes with GCMS MassHunter to convert MSD ChemStation data files to the MassHunter format. If MSConvert works with the MassHunter .d format then it should be able to handle the translated ChemStation data.
Thanks for your response. The only trouble here is we don't have GCMS MassHunter and I tried searching for GCMS Translator disks in our software kit but couldn't find any.
Sorry, I think I misunderstood the context of your question. What ChemStation software are you referring to? Is this MSD ChemStation collecting GCMS single quad data? Or is this LCMS or OpenLAB ChemStation collecting LCMS single quad data?
I am referring to MSD ChemStation collecting GCMS single quad data, sorry for not being clear about that earlier.
Unfortunately, there is no Agilent software package that I am aware of that converts to a .mzML/.mzXML format. The only solution that I see for you is my original recommendation of using the GCMS translator program to convert the MSD ChemStation .D format to the MassHunter data format. MSConvert would then hopefully work on the converted data files.
The GCMS translator software is only available if you purchase GCMS MassHunter Acquisition software and would be located on the supplemental disk.
Thanks for your answer. I will try to get in touch with Agilent Representative regarding. Hope to get some help there.
Thanks!! The Translator worked.
