How To Change the m/z Digits After the Decimal in MassHunter Qualitative Analysis

This Information Applies To: Agilent MassHunter Qualitative Analysis Software, Revision 7 and up

Issue

This article shows the procedure to change the number of decimal places in the Mass Spectrum Preview and MS Spectrum Results windows of the MassHunter Qualitative Analysis. The changes in these windows will appear in the m/z column in the MS Peaks table.

Steps to follow

1. In the top menu, click Configuration > MS and MS/MS Spectra Display Options
   Alternatively in the MS Spectrum Results window tool bar, click the Spectrum Display Options icon .

   Tips: Changes made in this window are also viewable in the MS Peak Lists.

2. Adjust the number of digits in the Digits after the Decimal field.

3. Click OK to save the change and to exit the dialog box.

4. To see the changes, review the MS Spectrum Results window.
