This Information Applies To: Agilent Lab Advisor Software, Agilent Multicolumn Thermostat
Issue:
Agilent Lab Advisor is a great tool to diagnose the issue of your HPLC. Running the tests that are relevant to your specific issue in the Service & Diagnostics section can help identify the cause of that issue in your LC your system.
Steps to follow:
Launch Agilent Lab Advisor and connect to your Agilent LC system by selecting the Connect tab, then choose Service & Diagnostics.
The Tests section offers tests specific to each module.
When a module is selected, a list of specific tests will appear (Figure 1). Guided procedures allow the comparison between diagnostic test results data from your module and predefined limits. It gives a Passed/Failed result.
A detailed description will tell you how to set up the test and the actions to be taken during the test.
Some tests are automatic, and some require action from the operator at certain points during the test procedure.
When each action step has been completed, a check mark is placed next to the action. If an action step fails, a red cross is displayed next to the step.
You can run the tests to self-troubleshoot your issue. It is also recommended to run any relevant tests and have the result available before contacting Agilent Support to have a more efficient and faster resolution.
Tests can be aborted and be run several times as necessary.
