Resetting LC UV Lamp Hours in Lab Advisor

This Information Applies To: Agilent Detectors with non-RFID tagged UV lamps - G1314A/B/C, G1315A/B, or G1365A/B.

Issue

Reset UV lamp hours via Lab Advisor.

Steps to Follow

1. Launch Agilent Lab Advisor software and connect to the instrument (Figure 1). See articles on Installing and adding a new system to Lab Advisor if necessary.
2. From the left panel, click EMFs (Figure 1).

3. Under the detector section, check Accumulated UV Lamp On-Time and Number of UV Lamp Ignitions. There is a reset button at the right as shown in the red circle (Figure 2).

4. Click these reset buttons to reset the Accumulated UV Lamp On-Time and Number of UV Lamp Ignitions respectively.

Note: See Figure 3 for RFID-tagged UV lamps for 1260 Infinity II LC, 1290 Infinity LC & 1290 Infinity II LC.  New lamps with RFID tags will be automatically set to zero upon installation. Therefore, the manual reset feature is not applicable. There will be no button with a message, "Tagged counter cannot be reset." when the cursor hovers over it.
