Cleaning Local Data Storage From 8890 or 8860 GC Systems

Issue

How to delete data that is stored on the GC instrument.


Steps to follow

 Caution 
Caution: Before deleting data from your GC, Agilent recommends extraction of data as a backup.

How to delete all chromatographic data

  1. Go to Settings > System Settings > Local Data Storage.

  2. Press Delete All Chromatographic Data.

How to delete methods

  1. Go to Settings > Service Mode > Instrument > Reset > Factory Reset.

  2. Choose the option to delete the on board GC methods.
