How to Check the Audit Trail of an Acquisition Method in OpenLab CDS (ver. 2.x) System

Issue:

This article explains how to review and output audit trails for acquisition method in OpenLab CDS (version 2.x). See How to Review and Confirm Acquisition Method Audit Trails by Administrators for regulated environments. 

Tips: To review the audit trail, the user requires the role permission "Review Audit Trail" at the OpenLab Control Panel assigned by an administrator. If this privilege is not predefined, the Review button is not visible.

Steps to follow:

1. Start the Acquisition program from the OpenLab Control Panel or desktop icon.

2. In the Home tab, select Method and load the required acquisition method. To open the Audit Trail window, select General > Properties > Show Audit Trail. 

   

3.  The pink colored lines in the audit trail are entries that the operator has not reviewed.

   

4. The audit trail can be viewed in two modes:
   1. To see the audit trail in category display, select the Summary icon.

      

   2. To see audit trail in sequential time display, select the Details icon.

      

5. To output the audit trail, click PDF Export or Print.
