Export Chromatogram Signal as CSV with OpenLab CDS (version 2.4 or higher)

Created by Taichiro Hayashi Taichiro Hayashi over 2 years ago | Last modified by Carlos Vargas Carlos Vargas 3 months ago

This Information Applies To: OpenLab CDS (version 2.4 or higher)

Issue:

How to export chromatogram signals as a CSV file with OpenLab CDS 2.x series (2.4 or higher).

Steps to follow:

  1. Before starting OpenLab CDS, create a folder for saving the CSV exported files (example: C:\CSV-Export).

  2. Start OpenLab CDS 2.x Data Analysis and load the desired Result Set.

  3. In the Home tab, select Methods view and the Processing Method window will display.

  4. Select Processing Method > Tools > Post Processing plug-ins > CSV export > + to set CSV export into the plug-ins list.

  5. Select the Run plugin check box: its selection can control CSV output.

  6. Select either comma, semicolon, or tab from the Delimiter drop-down menu.

  7. From the Output Path drop-down menu, select the directory or the folder where the CSV export files will be saved. Note: this file was created in Step 1 of this procedure.

  8. If the backslash does not appear after the path, insert it manually.

  9. Select the arrow > to input tokens that can be used to automatically name the file. See the possible combination in the following figure.

A folder will be generated for each sample and named according to the naming and/or Tokens when the list/result is reprocessed.

  10. Select Save Method > Reprocess All to reprocess the result set and export CSV files

  11. To view the resulting graphs, copy the desired CSV files to a spreadsheet software program.
