This Information Applies To: Agilent OpenLab CDS 2.x
Issue
This article provides the instruction on how to import default report templates.
Background
Agilent ships a set of default report templates with OpenLab CDS. Follow this procedure to make the default templates available in your project.
Prerequisites
To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the following privileges: Project Management > Edit content of project, and Report Template > Create report template. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.
Steps to Follow
- Select the Data Selection view.
- In the Import/Export ribbon tab, click Import Default Templates. (Figure 1)
- In the Select templates to import dialog box, select the required formats. By default, both A4 and Letter are selected. Select the size that is used in your region. (Figure 2)
After the import, a success message is shown. (Figure 3)
In the navigation pane under Methods & Templates, select Report templates. Press [F5] in the PC keyboard to refresh the display. (Figure 4)

Note: If you repeat this procedure and import the default templates again, they will be copied into a subfolder of the Report templates folder. The subfolder is named corresponding to your OpenLab CDS version. If no subfolder can be created (for example, in an ECM 3.x system on folder level), the filenames are extended by the version number, preventing the existing set of templates from being overwritten.
