This Information Applies To: Agilent OpenLab CDS , Agilent OpenLab ChemStation
Issue
Calculation of Area percent or Height percent for uncalibrated compounds in OpenLab software. If all components respond equally in the detector, then Area% and Height% provides a suitable approximation of the relative amounts of components.
Resolution
Correction factors are not applied in Area% or Height% calculation.
Area% and Height% are shown as default under Injection Results in OpenLab CDS (Figure 1).
Figure 1: Area % and Height % reported under Injection Results
Area% and Height% are reported in Single Injection Report in OpenLab CDS (Figure 2).
Figure 2: Area % and Height % reported in Single Injection Report
Area% is shown as default under Integration Event Table in OpenLab ChemStation (Figure 3).
Figure 3: Area% reported under Integration Event Table
Area% is reported in the Short_Area report template. However, height% needs to be added to the report template in OpenLab ChemStation (Figure 4).
