Issue
Finding out why the instrument is in yellow “not ready” condition, red “error” condition, or grey “offline” condition in Chromatography Data System (CDS) software.
Background

Resolution
Hover the mouse over the red “error”, yellow “not ready”, or grey "offline" bar in the HPLC module icon square in the Instrument Diagram to display a more detailed message.
Figure 1 shows a “not ready” condition on the DAD module because the UV lamp is not ready.

Figure 2 shows a red “error” condition on the sampler because the auto-clean procedure has failed.

Figure 3 shows a grey “offline” condition on the sampler due to a configuration mismatch. It requires a reconfiguration or firmware update.
