This Information Applies To: Agilent OpenLab CDS Workstation, Workstation Plus, OpenLab Server, OpenLab ECM XT
Issue
During OpenLab CDS software data acquisition, the following errors are shown.
Unable to create acaml file: one or more errors occurred
Error: InstrumentUnable to create acaml file: One or more errors occurred; Exception saving to file: xxxxxx
Then the sequence aborted.
Instrument status is shown as "Run Queue - Aborted sequence."
By checking the windoxxxxxxxx.seq; Aborted By: Hardware error_ "ws event log, error records will be found at Windows System events log as 8010 error: "Information DNS Client Events 8010 (1028)".
The system failed to register pointer (PTR) resource records (RRs) for the network adapter.
Resolution
This issue can be resolved by enabling the DNS Reverse lookup Zone at the DNS server in Windows Server.
Caution: For setting the DNS Configuration, the user will need to have privileges to access the DNS server settings in your domain network.
A request to modify server settings may require the Administrator privileges of an IT specialist in your organization.
