Parallel Capillary Electrophoresis Instrument Side Compartment Bottles

This Information Applies To: Agilent 5200/5300/5400 Fragment Analyzer, Femto Pulse, and ProteoAnalyzer systems

Issue

If the bottles in the Fragment Analyzer, Femto Pulse, or ProteoAnalyzer side compartment are damaged or lost, they would need to be replaced.

Background

An example of the bottles within the side compartment is shown in Figure 1.

Resolution 

• Gel and Conditioning Solution bottles for 96 or 48 capillary instruments: Corning® 250 mL polypropylene centrifuge tubes with plug seal cap, Corning p/n 430776. Available from Fisher scientific p/n 05-538-53, or VWR™ p/n 21008-771.
• Gel and Conditioning Solution bottles for 12 capillary instruments: Falcon® 50 mL high-clarity polypropylene conical centrifuge tube, Corning p/n 352070. Available from Fisher scientific p/n 14-432-22 or VWR™ p/n 21008-940.
• Waste Bottle for 96, 48 and 12 capillary instruments: Nalgene® bottles, style 2002. Merck p/n B3533.
