When you post a question in the forum provide as much System Information as you can and share a Detailed Description of the Issue.
- Model Number, e.g. G1312B LC binary pump, G3440 7890A GC, G3540A 8890 GC, G1888A headspace sampler.
- Software Name, e.g. OpenLab CDS, OpenLab ChemStation, MassHunter, and the revision (e.g. OpenLab ChemStation C.01.01, OpenLab CDS Version 2.8, MassHunter qualitative, or quantitative software Version 10).
- Technique, e.g. ICP-MS, LC, GC/MS, LC/MS single quadrupole, LC/MS time-of-flight.
Please remember that instrument serial numbers are confidential information to your company. Exercise caution when publishing or sharing these numbers to protect your company’s data security.
- Fault Description - Please provide as much detail as possible, detailed information will help minimize potential delays.
- What was done last, e.g. maintenance, power outage?
- Did something in the system change - e.g. environment, solvent, or gas supply, new module, PC update, firmware, software?
- Steps already taken-troubleshooting performed - The more detail the more likely we can identify the correct parts/action required.
