Agilent Seahorse Plate error: Plate Not Compatible with Assay: Troubleshooting Tips

If the Wave software used with Seahorse XFp, XFe24, or XFe96 displays an error stating “Plate not compatible with Assay,” this document can be used to help troubleshoot.

 

Here is a list of the most common causes for this error:

  • Cartridge reuse (not permitted in software)
  • Consumable improperly barcoded

 

Try these steps for a possible resolution:

  • If cartridge has not been used in conjunction with a previous assay, contact Agilent Cell Analysis technical support (with barcode information ready) at:
