Agilent Seahorse Wave Software Crash or Freeze: Troubleshooting Tips

If the Wave software used with Seahorse XFp, XFe24, or XFe96 freezes or crashes, this document can be used to help troubleshoot.


Here is a list of the most common causes for a Wave software crash:


  • Wave Software running is not the most recent version
  • Wave Software being used for data analysis or template creation while assay is running
  • Controller being used while assay is running
  • Controller has not been rebooted in extended period of time


Try these steps for a possible resolution:


  • Verify that most recent version of Wave is installed on controller
  • Verify that controller Best Practices are being followed
