I have agilent GC-TCD agilent HP7890B with helium carrier gas . I want to check mixture of CO2(1 %) , Helium(49 %) and argon balance . The TCD reference gas is Helium so helium peak will not eluted and customer is asking me for chromatogramme with all three peaks . So the only solution is to change reference gas to Nitrogen all peak of mixtures will be in one chromatogram .
- Is there any intelligent way to change only TCD reference gas without carrier ?
- What is other solution to let all peaks eluted in one chromatogram ?
- What is the best practise of changing carrier gas of TCD ?
